Why we built Insights
Building custom apps or creating structured data has been very easy with the thinkNXG Framework. However, extracting information from these apps was not a great experience. Users needed to know SQL to get valuable insights from their data. At our company, we had scattered revenue data — tracking renewals was challenging. Our renewal team had to depend on developers just to understand upcoming renewals and churn. I wanted to improve the experience of building reports and dashboards for everyone. That idea transformed into thinkNXG Insights — a generic business intelligence tool that gives a bird's eye view of overall performance. Today we use it to track sales, conversions, renewals, churn, support metrics, customer ratings, and much more. It has completely changed how we make decisions at all scales.
